Login account

Registration is optional. Registration is required if you want to load/save to cloud storage or share information with players. If you register your e-mail address, you must be able to confirm receipt.

Top left icon

If you use a Google account, it will show the icon you have set; if you use an E-Mail account, it will be a fixed mail image icon.

Name display

Displays the name and email that you set when you registered your account with this application. This is also the name that will be displayed on the host device when using the host/player linkage described below.

Top right authentication icon

When the icon is displayed, it means that your email has been authenticated. If you are using an email account, you will receive an email after registration, click on the link in the email to confirm that it is a valid address, and then log in again to become authenticated.

Login button

Create a new account and log in, or log in with an existing account. This is used for backup to the cloud and data sharing and notification between the host and the player in this application.

logout button

Basically, you don't need to log out, but it is used for logout/login operation when registering a new mail account.

Delete button

This will delete the account and all associated data in the cloud. Please note that the deletion of the registration to this application does not mean the deletion of your Google account.

Host/Player Communication

Tap the down arrow icon on the right to open the following panel. Tap it again to close it. Use this function when there are a lot of players, when the area is large, or when you want to avoid close quarters to prevent infection. Please refer to this page for instructions.

Host Mode

This is the mode of the organizer. This mode is used by the person who conducts the draw and facilitates the event.

Player Mode

Specify if you want the host device to share the results of the match. The winners and losers of the match results can be sent to the host and the data of the host device can be rewritten.

Enter the event name

The event name is a unique name that identifies the practice session, etc. You can have up to four event names. Please note that there is a limit to the number of characters and the type of characters that can be entered, as explained on the application. For regular events, it is recommended to use a fixed event name. It is not necessary to enter the name every time. On the other hand, if you want to keep it secret between events, you can change the event name in a timely manner to protect unnecessary references.

Register

Registers the event name you entered into the system. If the event has already been registered by someone else, it will fail. If the medal mark appears to the right of the input area, the registration is confirmed as successful (in host mode) or the notification registration is successful (in player mode).

Registration List

In case of host mode, it shows the list of event names registered in the system. In the case of player mode, it is the list stored in this application that has been successfully entered in the past and registered for notification to the event.

URL

Get the URL to share with the player. Touch to share URL, long touch to display QR code.

Accepting players/receiving notification of draw results

In host mode, set whether or not to allow players to accept. It is safe to turn this on during the event and off afterwards.
In player mode, set whether or not to receive notifications. If the notification is successful, a list of registrants will be displayed on the host machine behind this area. Suspicious registrants can be forcibly removed from the list by swiping.

[diagram]

backup

Displays the backup screen.

The following functions can be performed.
  • Backup to local storage in the smartphone.
  • Backup to cloud storage.
  • Load (write back) from cloud storage.
  • [diagram]

    View Results

Displays the match result list screen.

The following functions can be performed.
  • Changes in rating in this event.
  • Number of matches, win/loss results, and winning percentage per individual and per doubles pair.
  • [diagram]

    Combination Settings

Displays the combination setting screen for setting the detailed conditions of the players combination method.

    The following settings are available.
    • Setting Exclusions by Group
    • Setting rate imbalance limits
    • Priority and enable/disable of various constraints
    [diagram]

    Combination mode

Specify the combination method when drawing the match-up list.

    Normal

The draw will be conducted in such a way that there will be as many different combinations as possible, regardless of gender. The draw is generally conducted according to the following logic.

    1. Select candidates for participation. Candidates are those who are in the participation status.
    2. Determine the winners from the candidates. Priority will be given to those with the highest number of consecutive breaks, the highest total number of breaks, and the lowest number of consecutive appearances in the recent past, in that order. In the case of fixed pairs, the average will be taken.
    3. The combination of the winners will be determined. Fixed pairs will be determined by pairs, and from multiple randomly generated combinations, the combination with the fewest pairing results and the least number of matchups will be selected.
    Mixed

Create a combination of mixed doubles.

    Balance

Create men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles as much as possible. From mixed doubles, combine to create men-only and women-only doubles.

    [diagram]

    Dark mode

Specifies the color scheme mode of the display. Select the mode that best suits your environment and preference.

    Light (default value)

Displayed on a screen with a bright white background image.

    Dark

The screen displays a dark image with a black background. This reduces the strain on the eyes, and (in the case of OLED displays) saves battery power.

    System

On Android 10 (and later), it works according to the "Dark Mode" setting in the Settings menu. Earlier versions will always be considered "Light".

    [diagram]

    Choice of draw units

Select the units to be drawn by pressing the draw button at one time.

    Round (default value)

All courts will be drawn at once. This works best if the draws are made at regular intervals to allow all available participants to change courts at the same time.

    Court

The draw will be made one court at a time. Priority for the draw will be given to the court where the match has finished (the court where the match result has been entered), and priority for players will be given to those who can enter immediately (those who have finished the match in the previous round and those who have taken a break). It is necessary to enter the result of the match as it will determine whether the match is in progress or not.

    [diagram]

    Shoge Gender

Specify whether or not to display gender.

    ON (default value)

Display. Men are displayed in blue and women in red. Unset is not displayed.

    OFF

    Not displayed.

    [diagram]

    Show rating

Specifies whether or not to display the rating value. The rating will be calculated regardless of whether it is displayed or not.

    ON (default value)

Display. It is used to manually recombine or rank the items based on the ratings.

    OFF

Do not display. If you want to use it only for making combinations without assigning winners and losers, you can leave it off. By not displaying the names, the names of the participants can be displayed a little larger and the names are easier to read.

    [diagram]

    Show entry number

Specifies whether or not to display the rating value.

    ON (default value)

You can link the participant screen to the game table or the participant screen to the registration list by number, which makes it easier to correspond to a large number of participants.

    OFF

You can turn it off if you don't need it, since you can identify them by their names. If you don't need it, you can turn it off.

    [diagram]

    New Events

Execute this command when you want to clear the old event and hold a new one. This is usually done at the beginning of the event.

    Processing details
  • Your game history will be deleted. If the rating has changed, the final rate will be reflected in the register. (If you delete the game history with the "Cancel Draw" button, the result of the rating change will also be canceled.)
  • The member in the Participants screen will be cleared and become the default name.
  • It involves the deletion of data so that backups can be called up.
  • Example
  • End Event → Start Event → [New Event] → Set Event Conditions → Start Event → Back to Start

    [diagram]

    Clear rate

Set all rates to their initial uniform values.

  • This is a function to initialize the rates for level-based tournaments, handicap tournaments, etc., where you want to even out the strength and determine the rankings based only on the results of this event's wins and losses.
  • It involves the deletion of data so that backups can be called up.
  • Example
  • Backup (save) → Clear rate → Match → Backup (load) → Normal use

    [diagram]

    Performance tuning

Adjusts the balance between speed and precision when drawing lots. Tap the down arrow icon on the right to open the following panel. Tap it again to close it.

    [diagram]
    • If you set it to the speed side, the drawing process will be completed in a shorter time.
    • On the Precision side, the number of pairings and matches will be more evenly distributed.
    • If you feel dissatisfied with the center (default value), please adjust the value as it depends on the device performance and various drawing conditions.
