Login Account

Registration is optional, but required for cloud save/load and for sharing information between host and player devices. If you register with an email address, you must verify it.

Top-Left Icon

If you use a Google account, it will show your set icon. If you use an email account, it will be a fixed mail icon.

Name Display

Displays the name and email you set when you registered your account. This is also the name that will be displayed on the host device when using the host/player linkage described below.

Top-Right Authentication Icon

This icon indicates that your email has been authenticated. If you are using an email account, you will receive an email after registration. Tap the link in the email to verify your address. After verification, log in again to complete authentication.

Login Button

Registration is optional. However, it is required for loading/saving to cloud storage or sharing information with players. Email registration requires verification, whereas Google accounts do not. This is used to uniquely identify users for data protection purposes.
#Regardless of account type, authentication is managed by Google's cloud service. Your password is never revealed to administrators or other users.

Logout Button

You generally don't need to log out, but it's used for logging out and in when registering a new email account.

Delete Button

This deletes your app account and all associated cloud data. Note: This does not delete your Google account.

Host/Player Communication

Host Mode

This is the organizer's mode. This mode is used by the person who conducts the draw and facilitates the event.

Player Mode

Use this mode to connect to a host device and view shared match data. You can also enter match results and send them to the host, which will update the host's data.

Enter Event Name

The event name is a unique name that identifies the practice session. You can save up to four event names. Note the character limits explained in the app. For regular events, it is recommended to use a fixed event name. It is not necessary to enter the name every time. On the other hand, if you want to keep it secret between events, you can change the event name in a timely manner to protect unnecessary references.

Register

Registers the event name you entered. If the event has already been registered by someone else, it will fail. If the medal mark appears to the right of the input area, the registration is confirmed as successful (in host mode) or the notification registration is successful (in player mode).

Registration List

In host mode, it shows the list of registered event names. In player mode, it is the list stored in this application that has been successfully entered in the past and registered for notification to the event.

URL

Get a URL to share with players. Tap to share the URL, or press and hold to display a QR code.

Accepting Players / Receiving Draw Result Notifications

In host mode, set whether to accept players. It is safe to turn this on during the event and off afterwards.
In player mode, set whether to receive notifications. If the notification is successful, a list of registrants will be displayed on the host machine behind this area. Suspicious players can be removed from this list by swiping.

    • Setting Exclusions by Group
    • Setting rate imbalance limits
    • Priority and enable/disable of various constraints
    [diagram]

    Combination Mode

Specify the method for creating combinations when drawing the match-up list.

    Normal

The draw will be conducted to create as many different combinations as possible, regardless of gender. The draw is generally conducted according to the following logic.

    1. Select candidates for participation. Candidates are those who are in the participation status.
    2. Determine the winners from the candidates. Priority will be given to those with the highest number of consecutive breaks, the highest total number of breaks, and the lowest number of consecutive appearances in the recent past, in that order. In the case of fixed pairs, the average will be taken.
    3. The combination of the winners will be determined. Fixed pairs will be determined by pairs, and from multiple randomly generated combinations, the combination with the fewest pairing results and the least number of matchups will be selected.
    Mixed

    Creates mixed doubles combinations.

    Balance

Creates men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles whenever possible. From mixed doubles, combine to create men-only and women-only doubles.

    [diagram]

    Dark Mode

Specifies the display's color scheme. Select the mode that best suits your environment and preference.

    Light (default)

Displayed on a screen with a bright white background image.

    Dark

The screen displays a dark image with a black background. This reduces the strain on the eyes, and (in the case of OLED displays) saves battery power.

    System

On Android 10 (and later), it works according to the "Dark Mode" setting in the Settings menu. Earlier versions will always be considered "Light".

    [diagram]

    Draw Unit Selection

Select the units to be drawn at one time by pressing the draw button.

    Round (default)

All courts will be drawn at once. This works best if the draws are made at regular intervals to allow all available participants to change courts at the same time.

    Court

The draw will be made one court at a time. Priority for the draw will be given to the court where the match has finished (the court where the match result has been entered), and priority for players will be given to those who can enter immediately (those who have finished the match in the previous round and those who have taken a break). It is necessary to enter the result of the match as it will determine whether the match is in progress or not.

    [diagram]

    Show Gender

    Specify whether to display gender.

    ON (default)

Display. Men are displayed in blue and women in red. Unset is not displayed.

    OFF

    Not displayed.

    [diagram]

    Show Rating

Specifies whether to display the rating value. The rating will be calculated regardless of whether it is displayed or not.

    ON (default)

Display. It is used to manually recombine or rank the items based on the ratings.

    OFF

Do not display. If you want to use it only for making combinations without assigning winners and losers, you can leave it off. By not displaying the names, the names of the participants can be displayed a little larger and the names are easier to read.

    [diagram]

    Show Entry Number

Specifies whether to display the entry number.

    ON (default)

You can link the participant screen to the game table or the participant screen to the registration list by number, which makes it easier to correspond to a large number of participants.

    OFF

You can turn it off if you don't need it, since you can identify them by their names. If you don't need it, you can turn it off.

    [diagram]

    New Event

Run this command to clear the previous event and start a new one. This is usually done at the beginning of the event.

    Details
  • Your game history will be deleted. If the rating has changed, the final rate will be reflected in the register. (If you delete the game history with the "Cancel Draw" button, the result of the rating change will also be canceled.)
  • The players on the Player screen will be cleared and returned to default names.
  • A confirmation dialog will appear as this action involves deleting data.
  • Example
  • End Event → Start Event → [New Event] → Set Event Conditions → Start Event → Back to Start

    [diagram]

    Clear Ratings

Resets all player ratings to the initial default value.

  • This is a function to initialize the rates for level-based tournaments, handicap tournaments, etc., where you want to even out the strength and determine the rankings based only on the results of this event's wins and losses.
  • A confirmation dialog will appear as this action involves deleting data.
  • Example
  • Backup (save) → Clear rate → Match → Backup (load) → Normal use

    [diagram]

    Performance Tuning

Adjust the balance between speed and precision for the draw algorithm. Tap the down arrow icon to open the panel.

    [diagram]
    • Setting it towards 'Speed' completes the draw faster.
    • Setting it towards 'Precision' results in more evenly distributed pairings and matchups.
    • If you are not satisfied with the default setting, adjust this value. The optimal setting can depend on your device and draw conditions.
